Ehab Al Shanaa

Audio Engineer

Ehab's interest in music has passed through three stages: singing in choirs, playing and then engineering music. Each of these three stages has matured enough, leading to the succeeding one, in a natural and smooth consistency. With an irresistible passion for music, Ehab has been mixing with singers, instrumentalists and fellow audio engineers, exchanging ideas and creating beauty.

During his 4-year bachelor studies, Ehab collaborated with his colleagues at the Institute and was involved in several performances at the Damascus Opera House. During this period, Ehab gathered a lot of experience in theatrical plays and orchestral concerts. Perhaps one of the most thrilling experiences during Ehab's undergraduate study was his collaboration with the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra for several times and his involvement in live, as well as recorded performances. Working with such collective has added a lot to Ehab's skills in dealing with different sets of musical instruments and getting the most out of each.

Having graduated top of class in 2017, I was privileged to work as a teacher assistant at the Higher Institute for Dramatic and Theatrical Arts for an entire year. I taught level 2 and 3 classes on recording and mixing. This experience was an especially amazing one, since it allowed me to share my skills and experience with promising audio engineers, and also develop my communication and teaching skills.
