Michel Labaki aka "Labex"  is a Lebanese bassist, composer and producer; Best known as the bassist in Prime time TV show "Heik Menghanni" aired on MTV.

Born and raised in Lebanon, Labex was influenced by his mother who was a pianist. He began playing bass at the age of 15 and soon became a prominent bass player in Lebanon. Labex is distinguished for his musical techniques and styles in funk, Latin, and fusion world music. Using The Stap technique which was first featured in his recent album "Dear Mother".
